Unisex
Full Zip Jacket 400
Size:
Full Zip Jacket 400 is our most popular mid layer, knitted in thick Ullfrotté Original 400. It works as a perfect mid layer in low temperatures and features a high collar and thumb grips at the cuffs to keep the cold out.
Note: This garment has a roomy unisex fit. We recommend women choose one size smaller, while men choose their usual size.
- High collar: Double-knitted collar that fits close and protects the neck.
- Thumb grips: Sewn into the cuffs to keep the wrists warm and prevent the sleeves from riding up.
- Seamless comfort: The body is circular knitted on specialised machines, meaning the jacket has no side seams that can cause chafing.
- Extended back: The design ensures the lower back stays covered and warm, even when bending forward.
- Easy care: The structure of the wool fibre means that airing is often enough. When washing is needed, the garment can be machine washed at 60 degrees.

About Ullfrotté 400
Ullfrotté Original 400 grams is a thicker version of our classic material. The knitted construction with terry loops traps a large amount of air within the fabric, creating an insulating layer with few contact points against the skin. This provides effective warmth while also allowing moisture to be transported away.
Like all our Ullfrotté materials, it is made from merino wool combined with synthetic fibers, where the soft, crimped wool fibers provide comfort close to the body and the synthetic fibers add durability. Ullfrotté 400 is primarily used as a mid layer, for example in our classic Full Zip Jacket 400, and provides extra warmth in colder conditions or during cool summer evenings.
Do you know who made your garment?
Our garments are produced in our own factory in Östersund. Here, our seamstresses work in teams with different types of products, and each garment is sewn from start to finish by the same person. This creates a close connection to the craft and ensures high quality at every stage.
We do not work on piece rates; instead, we prioritize quality over quantity. If anything in the process needs adjustment, work is paused to ensure the final result meets our standards. This creates a secure working environment and supports precision and long-term sustainability.
Once the garment is finished, it is inspected and signed by the seamstress who made it. The name label in the garment is therefore not just a detail, but a mark of quality and a reminder that each piece is made by a skilled individual with deep knowledge of their craft.
