Base layer tops

The upper body garment has a significant impact on the body’s temperature regulation throughout the day. Base layer tops and T-shirts in merino wool are designed to sit close to the skin, enabling effective moisture absorption and helping the wearer stay dry. Thanks to the natural properties of the material, a stable microclimate is created closest to the upper body.

Our assortment includes lightweight T-shirts for warmer days as well as long-sleeved tops with high or low collars. Because the Ullfrotté tops are circular knitted on specially built machines, there are no longitudinal seams, eliminating the risk of chafing under backpack straps or when worn in a layering system.

The choice of neckline offers different functional benefits: Crewneck provides a classic fit under other garments, while Zip Turtleneck allows quick temperature regulation and extra ventilation when needed. All tops are durable and can be machine washed at 60°C.
