Bottoms

Our merino wool long johns are an essential part of an effective base layer system, protecting the legs from cooling during both activity and rest. By wearing wool closest to the skin, body heat is insulated while moisture is transported away, helping keep the skin dry and warm. The bottoms are designed with a focus on high comfort and freedom of movement, whether used as a single layer or under shell pants.

The Ullfrotté models are circular knitted, meaning they have no longitudinal seams that could cause irritation or chafing against the skin. The assortment includes different thicknesses, from the thinner LITE series for activity and high-intensity training to Ullfrotté Original 200 for use in colder climates.

The long johns feature an integrated elastic waistband for a secure fit and a construction that helps them maintain their shape even after frequent use. Like the rest of our base layer range, these bottoms can be machine washed at 60°C.
