Jury Statement:
“With products born from need and function, the winner never makes abrupt changes to its range. Quality is never compromised, and production control is meticulous. This allows focus to be placed on resource efficiency such as reuse, solar energy, research – and the construction of an entirely new factory. This year’s sustainability company demonstrates how a unique business model can create profitable production in Sweden while also serving as a role model in integration.”
Woolpower, Icebug and Swedish Wool Initiative were the finalists in 2023. During the spring, the jury reviewed nearly 70 companies in the industry – from major chains to small-scale brands, retailers, innovators, organisations, projects and recycling initiatives.
