Investments in green energy
Sustainability, the environment, and climate are matters close to the heart of Woolpower and the company’s two owners, Daniel and Adam Brånby. And this commitment goes beyond manufacturing functional garments in merino wool. Woolpower’s philosophy is simple: it’s about taking responsibility at every stage. That’s why we have chosen to invest in six fast chargers with a total of 12 charging points outside our factory. There are also 2,200 solar panels installed on the factory roof to generate renewable electricity for both the factory and the charging stations.

Charge your EV outside our factory – just one minute from road E14
Thanks to strong and close collaboration with, among others, Region Jämtland/Härjedalen’s project “Renewable in the Tank” and Jämtkraft’s working group “Electrification of the Transport Sector in Jämtland County,” Woolpower has invested in the largest and most powerful charging site for passenger cars in all of Östersund, located just outside our new factory.
There are six public EV charging stations, each with space to charge two cars, and a capacity of 300 kW per station.

The charging site is located about one minute by car from the highway, making it quick and convenient to stop by and charge your EV.”
