Long Johns with Fly 400
Size:
Extra warm long johns with fly in our thick Ullfrotté Original 400. This robust model in a men’s fit is designed for extreme cold, circular knitted to eliminate chafing side seams and provide maximum insulation.
Sizing advice: Regular men’s sizing. Choose the size you usually wear in underwear or base layers.
- Practical fly: Designed for ease of use and added functionality in cold environments.
- Seamless construction: The circular knitted construction provides a flexible feel and reduces the risk of chafing under outer layers.
- Gusset in the crotch: A sewn-in gusset provides increased mobility and improved durability.
- Cuffs: Knitted cuffs at the ankles ensure the legs stay in place and do not ride up.
- Easy care: The structure of the wool fibre means that airing is often enough. When washing is needed, the garment can be machine washed at 60 degrees.

About Ullfrotté 400
Ullfrotté Original 400 grams is a thicker version of our classic material. The knitted construction with terry loops traps a large amount of air within the fabric, creating an insulating layer with few contact points against the skin. This provides effective warmth while also allowing moisture to be transported away.
Like all our Ullfrotté materials, it is made from merino wool combined with synthetic fibers, where the soft, crimped wool fibers provide comfort close to the body and the synthetic fibers add durability. Ullfrotté 400 is primarily used as a mid layer, for example in our classic Full Zip Jacket 400, and provides extra warmth in colder conditions or during cool summer evenings.
Do you know who made your garment?
Our garments are produced in our own factory in Östersund. Here, our seamstresses work in teams with different types of products, and each garment is sewn from start to finish by the same person. This creates a close connection to the craft and ensures high quality at every stage.
We do not work on piece rates; instead, we prioritize quality over quantity. If anything in the process needs adjustment, work is paused to ensure the final result meets our standards. This creates a secure working environment and supports precision and long-term sustainability.
Once the garment is finished, it is inspected and signed by the seamstress who made it. The name label in the garment is therefore not just a detail, but a mark of quality and a reminder that each piece is made by a skilled individual with deep knowledge of their craft.
