For work in cold environments where flame protection is required, Long Johns Protection 400 are a durable midlayer developed for professional use. Knitted in Ullfrotté Original 400, they provide high thermal insulation and are certified for protection against heat, flame and static electricity.
Size guide: Unisex fit; we recommend women choose one size smaller than usual.
Woolpower Protection 400 is a flame-resistant mid layer developed for workwear and professional use in environments where both warmth and protection are required. The garments are designed to be worn as a second layer, providing additional insulation in cold conditions or during low-intensity work.
The has terry loops on the inside trap large amounts of air and effectively insulate body heat. The blend of merino wool and synthetic fibres creates a durable material with high comfort and efficient moisture management.
Protection 400 is ideally worn together with Protection LITE closest to the skin and can be used year-round depending on working conditions.
Certifications for Protection 400
Certified according to EN standards for flame protection, antistatic properties and arc protection. Wool is naturally flame resistant and does not melt, helping reduce the risk of severe burn injuries. For maximum protection, we recommend using a complete base layer together with other certified outer garments.
