Together with people from all over the world, you’ll have the opportunity to
experience snowshoe hiking in the magical Skuleskogen National Park.

The hike is organised by FriluftsByn together with us at Woolpower, Gränsfors Bruk and Naturkompaniet. Before the hike begins, we host a talk on how to dress properly to stay warm and dry during winter conditions. On the second night, we arrange the Woolpower Dip, where you’ll have the chance to experience what makes our Ullfrotté Original material so special.

Take the opportunity to join us for an unforgettable winter adventure!

Over three days, we explore the breathtaking landscapes of the Höga Kusten World Heritage site, learn new skills through outdoor workshops, gather around campfires and enjoy plenty of great moments together. The adventure concludes with a festive After-Hike celebration at FriluftsByn.

For Experienced Hikers and Curious Beginners

Höga Kusten Winter Hike is suitable both for those who have winter hiked and camped before and for curious beginners. In fact, most participants have never camped in winter before — so you won’t be alone if this is your first time.

You bring your own equipment, while transportation, seven meals, courses and the After-Hike celebration are included in the adventure. Tents and sleeping bags are also available for rent.

You can choose between two types of experiences:

  • Expedition Carry all your equipment and camp at two different overnight sites.

  • Explorer Set up camp together at the start and then head out on day hikes.

Both groups meet during the two days, and on the second night everyone shares the same camp. You can read more about the two experiences via the links above.

Great Community and Plenty of Fun

Some participants bring friends and family, while others come on their own and quickly become part of the community. On Wednesday evening, there is a pre-event gathering at FriluftsByn. Before boarding the buses on Thursday, an introduction course to winter outdoor life is held — a perfect opportunity to meet fellow participants.

You’ll meet us at Woolpower during the Thursday morning introduction, and of course out on the trail. On Friday evening, those who wish (if many are interested, spots will be raffled) will have the chance to try a Woolpower Dip — taking an ice bath and then putting on an Ullfrotté 200 base layer to experience the warmth it generates.

This is truly a fantastic adventure that will create memories for life. Many participants return year after year for the unique combination of spectacular nature and wonderful community spirit.
